শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
হা মীম।
English
Sahih International:
Ḥā, Meem.
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
শপথ সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
English
Sahih International:
By the clear Book,
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি ইহা অবতীর্ণ করেছি এক মুবারাক রাতে, আমিতো সতর্ককারী।
English
Sahih International:
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এ রাতে প্রত্যেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় স্থিরীকৃত হয় –

Sahih International:
Therein [i.e., on that night] is made distinct every precise matter -
أَمْرًا مِّنْ عِندِنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমার আদেশক্রমে; আমি রাসূল প্রেরণ করে থাকি –

Sahih International:
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তোমার রবের অনুগ্রহ স্বরূপ, তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ –

Sahih International:
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing,
رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
যিনি আকাশমন্ডলী, পৃথিবী এবং ওগুলির মধ্যস্থিত সব কিছুর রাব্ব - যদি তোমরা নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসী হও।

Sahih International:
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain.
لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তিনি ব্যতীত কোন মা‘বূদ নেই, তিনি জীবন দান করেন এবং তিনিই মৃত্যু ঘটান; তিনিই তোমাদের এবং তোমাদের পূর্ব-পুরুষদেরও রাব্ব।

Sahih International:
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.
بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
বস্তুতঃ তারা সন্দেহের বশবর্তী হয়ে হাসি ঠাট্টা করছে।

Sahih International:
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
فَٱرْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
অতএব তুমি অপেক্ষা কর সেই দিনের যেদিন স্পষ্ট ধুম্রাচ্ছন্ন হবে আকাশ।

Sahih International:
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke
يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ ۖ هَـٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এবং তা আবৃত করে ফেলবে মানব জাতিকে। এটা হবে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।

Sahih International:
Covering the people; this is a painful torment.
رَّبَّنَا ٱكْشِفْ عَنَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তখন তারা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের রাব্ব! আমাদেরকে এই শাস্তি হতে মুক্তি দিন, আমরা ঈমান আনব।

Sahih International:
[They will say], "Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers."
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তারা কি করে উপদেশ গ্রহণ করবে? তাদের নিকটতো এসেছে স্পষ্ট ব্যাখ্যাকারী এক রাসূল;
English
Sahih International:
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger.
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجْنُونٌ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
অতঃপর তারা তাকে অমান্য করে বলেঃ সেতো শিখানো বুলি বলছে, সেতো এক পাগল।

Sahih International:
Then they turned away from him and said, "[He was] taught [and is] a madman."
إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি তোমাদের শাস্তি কিছু কালের জন্য রহিত করছি, তোমরাতো তোমাদের পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে যাবে।
English
Sahih International:
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief].
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
যেদিন আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রবলভাবে পাকড়াও করব সেদিন আমি তোমাদেরকে শাস্তি দিবই।

Sahih International:
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution.
۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এদের পূর্বে আমি ফির‘আউন সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম এবং তাদের নিকটও এসেছিল এক মহান রাসূল।

Sahih International:
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger [i.e., Moses],
أَنْ أَدُّوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
সে বললঃ আল্লাহর বান্দাদেরকে আমার নিকট প্রত্যর্পণ কর। আমি তোমাদের জন্য এক বিশ্বস্ত রাসূল।
English
Sahih International:
[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allāh. Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger,"
وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এবং তোমরা আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে উদ্ধত হয়োনা, আমি তোমাদের নিকট উপস্থিত করছি স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ।
English
Sahih International:
And [saying], "Be not haughty with Allāh. Indeed, I have come to you with clear evidence.
وَإِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরাঘাতে হত্যা করতে না পার তজ্জন্য আমি আমার রাব্ব ও তোমাদের রবের আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি।

Sahih International:
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
যদি তোমরা আমার কথায় বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর তাহলে তোমরা আমা হতে দূরে থাক।
English
Sahih International:
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone."
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
অতঃপর মূসা তার রবের নিকট নিবেদন করলঃ এরাতো এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়।

Sahih International:
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people.
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি বলেছিলামঃ তুমি আমার বান্দাদেরকে নিয়ে রাতে বের হয়ে পড়, তোমাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করা হবে।
English
Sahih International:
[Allāh said], "Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued.
وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
সমুদ্রকে স্থির থাকতে দাও, তারা এমন এক বাহিনী যারা নিমজ্জিত হবে।
English
Sahih International:
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তারা পশ্চাতে রেখে গেল কত উদ্যান ও প্রস্রবণ,

Sahih International:
How much they left behind of gardens and springs
وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
কত শস্য ক্ষেত ও সুরম্য প্রাসাদ,

Sahih International:
And crops and noble sites
وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا۟ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
কত বিলাস উপকরণ, যা তাদেরকে আনন্দ দিত।
English
Sahih International:
And comfort wherein they were amused.
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এরূপই ঘটেছিল এবং আমি এই সমুদয়ের উত্তরাধিকারী করেছিলাম ভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়কে।

Sahih International:
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আকাশ এবং পৃথিবীর কেহই তাদের জন্য অশ্রুপাত করেনি এবং তাদেরকে অবকাশও দেয়া হয়নি।
English
Sahih International:
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved.
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি উদ্ধার করেছিলাম বানী ইসরাঈলকে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তি হতে –

Sahih International:
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment -
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
ফির‘আউনের; সে তো পরাক্রান্ত সীমালংঘনকারীদের মধ্যে।

Sahih International:
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors.
وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি জেনে শুনেই তাদেরকে বিশ্বে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছিলাম।

Sahih International:
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds.
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَـٰٓؤٌا۟ مُّبِينٌ

শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এবং তাদেরকে দিয়েছিলাম নিদর্শনাবলী, যাতে ছিল সুস্পষ্ট পরীক্ষা।

Sahih International:
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial.
إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তারা বলেই থাকে –
English
Sahih International:
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying,
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমাদের প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত আর কিছুই নেই এবং আমরা আর পুনরুত্থিত হবনা।
English
Sahih International:
"There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected.
فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
অতএব তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তাহলে আমাদের পূর্ব-পুরুষদেরকে উপস্থিত কর।
English
Sahih International:
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful."
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
শ্রেষ্ঠ কি তারা না তুব্বা সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছিলাম, অবশ্যই তারা ছিল অপরাধী।

Sahih International:
Are they better or the people of Tubbaʿ and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَـٰعِبِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যস্থিত কোন কিছুই ক্রীড়াচ্ছলে সৃষ্টি করিনি।

Sahih International:
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play.
مَا خَلَقْنَـٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি এ দু’টি অযথা সৃষ্টি করিনি, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই এটা জানেনা।

Sahih International:
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know.
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ مِيقَـٰتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
নিশ্চয়ই সকলের জন্য নির্ধারিত রয়েছে তাদের বিচার দিবস –
English
Sahih International:
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all -
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًى شَيْـًٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
যেদিন এক বন্ধু অপর বন্ধুর কোন কাজে আসবেনা এবং তারা সাহায্যও পাবেনা।
English
Sahih International:
The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped -
إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তবে আল্লাহ যার প্রতি দয়া করেন তার কথা স্বতন্ত্র। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, পরম দয়ালু।
English
Sahih International:
Except those [believers] on whom Allāh has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
নিশ্চয়ই যাক্কুম বৃক্ষ হবে –

Sahih International:
Indeed, the tree of zaqqūm
طَعَامُ ٱلْأَثِيمِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
পাপীর খাদ্য।
English
Sahih International:
Is food for the sinful.
كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَغْلِى فِى ٱلْبُطُونِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
গলিত তাম্রের মত; ওটা তার উদরে ফুটতে থাকবে –

Sahih International:
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies
كَغَلْىِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
ফুটন্ত পানির মত।
English
Sahih International:
Like the boiling of scalding water.
خُذُوهُ فَٱعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
(বলা হবে) তাকে ধর এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহান্নামের মধ্যস্থলে।

Sahih International:
[It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire,
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا۟ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
অতঃপর তার মাথার উপর ফুটন্ত পানি ঢেলে দিয়ে শাস্তি দাও।
English
Sahih International:
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water."
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এবং বলা হবেঃ আস্বাদন কর, তুমিতো ছিলে সম্মানিত, অভিজাত।

Sahih International:
[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمْتَرُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এটাতো ওটাই, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা সন্দেহ করতে।

Sahih International:
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute."
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
মুত্তাকীরা থাকবে নিরাপদ স্থানে –

Sahih International:
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place:
فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
উদ্যান ও ঝর্ণার মাঝে।

Sahih International:
Within gardens and springs,
يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তারা পরিধান করবে মিহি ও পুরু রেশমী বস্ত্র এবং তারা মুখোমুখী হয়ে বসবে।

Sahih International:
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
এরূপই ঘটবে; তাদেরকে সঙ্গিনী দিব আয়তলোচনা হুর।

Sahih International:
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
সেখানে তারা প্রশান্তচিত্তে বিবিধ ফলমূল আনতে বলবে।

Sahih International:
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure.
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ إِلَّا ٱلْمَوْتَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
প্রথম মৃত্যুর পর তারা সেখানে আর মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবেনা। তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি হতে রক্ষা করবেন –

Sahih International:
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
তোমার রাব্ব নিজ অনুগ্রহে। এটাইতো মহা সাফল্য।

Sahih International:
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَـٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
আমি তোমার ভাষায় কুরআনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছি যাতে তারা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে।
English
Sahih International:
And indeed, We have eased it [i.e., the Qur’ān] in your tongue that they might be reminded.
فَٱرْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ
বাংলা
শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান:
সুতরাং তুমি প্রতীক্ষা কর, তারাওতো প্রতীক্ষমান।

Sahih International:
So watch, [O Muḥammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].
